Issue with this morning's Rick's Tech Tips newsletter
Several folks with Gmail accounts have reported that Gmail put a big red warning label on today’s issue of the newsletter.
Gmail checks incoming messages to see if they fit a pattern that typically indicates that a message is dangerous in some way. And unfortuantely, they sometimes get it wrong.
This morning’s emails were mistakenly flagged for some reason. I have no idea why because I’ve been using this same basic format for a year now.
Anyway, if you received one of these warning messages you can rest assured that the email isn’t dangerous in any way. This is simply a “false positive” on reported by Gmail’s test.
I’m very sorry for this inconvenience.
Thanks,
Rick Rouse
