Rick's Daily Tech Tips Update for Wednesday, December 25, 2024
Hello, and Merry Christmas!
Today’s edition of the newsletter will be a little different than usual. I hope you don’t mind. Everything will be back to normal tomorrow, I promise.
Don’t worry, there’s a tip coming up at the end of this email, and it just might be the best one ever. I’ll leave that up to you to decide.
But first, I’d like to share a beautiful and heart-warming video with you…
Every year the folks at Chevrolet put out a wonderful holiday video with a Christmas theme. They are all superb, but the one I’m sharing with you today is from Christmas 2021. It is, and likely always will be, my favorite. If you enjoy this one you can watch the rest of them at YouTube.
Watch, and enjoy…
I must admit, that gets to me every time. I just can’t help it.
Christmas is a time of love, remembrance and giving - most important of all being the giving.
I’m not talking about the gifts under the tree, carefully wrapped in shiny paper and topped with a colorful bow, although those are wonderful and very important, especially to the children.
The gift I’m talking about is the gift of love, especially the original gift of perfect love, sent down to all mankind by our Creator via the birth of His only Son, the Christ child, on that very first Christmas day, so very long ago.
And now, on to the tip I promised above…
On this special day, I believe it might be good to leave our gadgets on a shelf and spend the day thinking about the loved ones who can’t be with us on Christmas, while also enjoying the company and fellowship of those who can.
There will be another tomorrow, but we can’t know who among us today might not be around to share the tomorrows that are to come with us.
And finally, I want to thank you for the kindness you send my way every day with your friendly feedback, supportive comments and generous support. I couldn’t do this every day without you, and I wouldn’t want to.
I hope you and your family have the best Christmas ever this year, and I pray for continued blessings for you all throughout the new year to come.
Merry Christmas, and many heartfelt thanks.
