Today's Quick Tip....
How to delete an entire word from a document with just one keystroke
If you've been using computers for more than five minutes you surely know that pressing the Backspace key will delete the character that's positioned directly in front of the cursor.
And you also probably know it can get rather tedious when you need to delete several words from your document.
Well here's a little trick you can try the next time you're editing a document...
If you need to delete an entire word just hold down the Ctrl key while pressing the Backspace key.
As long as you keep holding the Ctrl key down you can keep pressing the Backspace key and it'll delete an entire word with every keystroke.
That means you can delete five words with five keystrokes, and that's a lot simpler, and a lot faster than pressing the Backspace key alone several dozen times.
