Today's Quick Tip....
How to easily extract images from a MS Word (.docx) file
Have you ever received a Word file in .docx format that had images embedded in it that you wanted to extract?
If so, chances are you found the task of extracting those images to not be such an easy task.
Well, as luck would have it there's a very simple way to extract any (or all) of the images from any .docx Word file...
All you have to do is "zip" the file (the .docx extension will change to .zip). You'll then be able to navigate to the photo(s) in the zipped folder containing the image(s) and copy it/them to your hard drive.
To zip a file on a Windows machine simply right-click on the file and click Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
To zip a file on a Mac just press and hold the Control key while clicking on the file, then select Compress from the menu.
