Today's Quick Tip....
How to make sure you can't accidentally close a browser tab
Do you have a certain web page that you want to always have open in your browser? In other words, a tab that you'll never want to close?
Or perhaps you need to do something really important on a web page (like fill out an application, for example) and you want to be absolutely sure that you don't accidentally close the tab before you complete that important task?
Well, in either case the solution is simple...
Just "pin" that tab to the Tab Bar. Here's how:
1 - Right-click on the tab you want to pin to the Tab Bar.
2 - Click either Pin tab or Pin (depending on which text your browser uses).
That's all there is to it. Once a tab bas been pinned to the Tab Bar you won't be able to close it even if you try.
If you change your mind later and decide to "unpin" the tab just follow the steps above once again and click Unpin tab in step 2.
