Today's Quick Tip....
How to quickly fix text you accidentally typed in all caps
Have you ever typed out a long document in Microsoft Word only to discover when you look up that everything you typed was in upper case except for the first letter of each sentence?
If so, you must have accidentally pressed the "Caps Lock" key before you began typing.
Unfortunately, this is very easy to do. In fact, being the Mr. Fumble Fingers that I am, I do it all the time.
Well as luck would have it, there's a very easy way to fix this "All Caps" mistake without having to start over and type everything again...
Simply press the Ctrl+A key combination to select all the incorrectly typed text and then press Shift+F3 twice. That will automatically convert all of that mis-typed text to the correct case, including the first letter of each sentence.
If you only have a paragraph or two that's in all caps simply select the mis-typed paragraphs and press Shift+F3.

Scam alert: Be wary of Facebook friend requests from people you’re already friends with
If you receive a friend request from someone you're already friends with on Facebook there's a strong chance that it's a scammer pretending to be your friend.
Q&A: Why do Chromebooks come up when I search for ‘laptop’ on Amazon?
A reader wants to know why Chromebooks are included in the search results when someone searches for "laptops" on Amazon. This post has the answer.
Why you should completely delete suspicious files instead of placing them in the Recycle Bin
Malicious files can be just as dangerous in your PC's Recycle bin as they are before they were placed there. This post explains why (and how to bypass the Recycle Bin and delete them immediately).
