Today's Quick Tip....
How to quickly display hidden files in your Mac's 'Finder'
As you probably know, many of the files on your Mac's hard drive or SSD are hidden from view when you open the folders containing them in the 'Finder'.
And truth be told, there are good reasons for having certain types of files hidden from view, and therefore inaccessible via an errant click.
If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to see the hidden files in a given folder you can quickly "unhide" them with a simple key combination...
Just press the Command+Shift+. key combination (i.e. press the Command key, the Shift key and the period key at the same time). The hidden files will be immediately revealed to you.
After you've finished whatever task you were doing that required the viewing of those hidden files you can just as easily hide them again by pressing the Command+Shift+. key combination once again.
